Bundesliga goals: Hoffenheim reclaim top spot; Hertha maintain their unlikley title challenge; Dortmund frustrate Leverkusen

Pantelic doubled the lead with a fine shot from outside the box, but Frankfurt quickly replied, Kolher was in the right place to score at the back post.

Cologne 1 – Wolfsburg 1 (Bundesliga, January 31, 2009) (Longer highlights here.) Cologne adopted route one tactics to score against Wolfsburg, Sergiu Radu latched onto a long ball and lobbed the stranded keeper. Grafite pulled the visitors level with a 25-yard daisycutter into the bottom corner.

Borussia Dortmund 1 – Bayer Leverkusen 1 (Bundesliga, January 31, 2009) (Longer highlights here.) Leverkusen gave away a poor goal at Dortmund, Sinkiewicz’s attempted clearance was charged down by Owomoyela and the ball fell to Alexander Frei for the easy tap-in. Bayer’s Patrick Helmes brought his side level side-footing home a cut-back just after the hour mark.

Stuttgart 2 – Monchengladbach 0 (Bundesliga, January 31, 2009) Roel Brouwers could not stop Hilbert’s shot from crossing the line to give Stuttgart the lead. Mario Gomes netted the winner five minutes from time heading home a corner.
