Montpellier 2 – Evian 3 (Ligue 1, October 6, 2012) Saber Khalifa claimed a hat-trick for Evian – opening the scoring on 30 before equalising at 2-2 on 62 and winning the match on 89. Marcos Estrada and Souleymane Camara had given the faltering Ligue 1 champions the lead just before half-time.
Toulouse 2 – Valenciennes 2 (Ligue 1, October 6, 2012) Adrien Regattin grabbed a last-minute winner as Toulouse came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Valenciennes. Foued Kadir and Carlos Sanchez scored inside the first quarter-hour for the visitors, who would have moved fourth with a win. But the in-form Wissam Ben Yedder cut the deficit with his sixth of the season and Regattin’s late strike earned a point for Toulouse.
Sochaux 0 – Rennes 1 (Ligue 1, October 6, 2012) Mevlut Erdinc scored the only goal in the seventh minute as Rennes won 1-0 at Sochaux.
Reims 3 – Nice 1 (Ligue 1, October 6, 2012) Dario Cvitanich cancelled out Diego’s opener for the losers just after the hour-mark before an inspired substitution fired Reims to victory. Gaetan Courtet, introduced nine minutes after the break, put his side ahead with three minutes left before he capped the win with a second goal in injury time to seal the victory.
Lille 2 – Ajaccio 0 (Ligue 1, October 6, 2012) Nolan Roux headed Lille in front three minutes before half-time and Ryan Mendes doubled their lead in the 56th minute.
Bastia 3 – Troyes 2 (Ligue 1, October 6, 2012) Rincon’s own goal and Anthony Modeste’s effort saw Bastia twice take the lead, only for Marcos to equalise on each occasion. But Fabrice N’Sakala and Xavier Thiago were both sent off before Toifilou Maoulida grabbed an 88th-minute winner.
