Montpellier move level on points with leaders Bordeaux; Marseille, Lille & Lyon all pick up wins

Montpellier 1 – Grenoble 0 (Ligue 1, February 13, 2010) Victor Hugo Montano got the only goal in the 27th minute and Montpellier’s defence stood firm for a fourth consecutive match – moving them to within one clean sheet of the club record. And, with Bordeaux not playing St Etienne until Sunday, Montpellier are level on points at the top with 48.

Monaco 1 – Marseille 2 (Ligue 1, February 13, 2010) OM captain Mamadou Niang put the visitors ahead in the 37th minute from the spot. Three minutes later Monaco striker Moussa Maazou’s shot was deflected into his own goal by Marseille midfielder Stephane Mbia. Marseille snatched the points at the death thanks to Julio Nkoulou’s own-goal in the 88th minute following a corner.

Lille 3 – Boulogne 1 (Ligue 1, February 13, 2010) A fine pass from Yohan Cabaye opened up the visiting defence with just five minutes of the match gone, Ludovic Obraniak was sharply onto the ball, sending a powerful half-volley goalwards. Adil Rami doubled the lead from a corner and, while Olubayo Adefemi reduced the score against the run of play, Lille’s 2-goal cushion was restored on the stroke of halftime, when Obraniak grabbed his second of the game.

Lyon 1 – Lens  0 (Ligue 1, February 13, 2010) Cesar Delgado scored 15 minutes from time.
