PSG 3 – St. Etienne 0 (Ligue 1, December 13, 2009) Struggling St. Etienne found themselves two down in Paris early doors, Peguy Luyindula and Stephane Sessegnon fired PSG ahead. Mevlut Erding headed in the Parisians’ third to leave Les Verts searching for a miracle. (First half highlights here.)

Monaco 0 – Lille 4 (Ligue 1, December 13, 2009) Tulio De Melo’s low 39th minute drive put Lille ahead at Monaco (first half highlights here) and the De Melo struck again at the start of the second period with a header from a corner while Yohan Cabaye slotted in a third from the penalty spot to wrap up the points.

Sochaux 1 – Grenoble 0 (Ligue 1, December 13, 2009) A single goal from Yassine Mikari earned Sochaux the spoils, while Danijel Ljuboja also missed from the penalty spot for Grenoble.

Toulouse 0 – Montpellier 1 (Ligue 1, December 13, 2009) Senegal striker Souleymane Camara fired home with a superb strike from the edge of the box in the 10th minute to convert his side’s only clear chance in the first half and send Montpellier second.
