Stabaek 5 – Start Kristiansand 0 (Tippeligaen, June 21, 2009) Start were unable to clear a scrappy corner after 21 minutes and Fredrik Berglund eventually turned in the opener. After the break a slick move from the hosts ended when Daigo Kobayashi slotted in number two. Kobayashi quickly chalked up a second when the forward beautifully executed a half-volley from just inside the box. Daniel Nannskog wrapped up the win with a late brace, the second a fabulous volley.
