Dynamo comeback to beat Dnipro; Shakhtar edge to victory; Halmstad & IFK win big; Stabaek & Stromsgodset win in Norway

Dynamo Kyiv 2 – Dnipro D’petrovsk 1 (Ukrainian Premier League, April 18, 2010) Dnipro surprised league leaders Dynamo Kiev by taking a 18th minute lead through Maksym Kalynychenko, but the visitors were then placed at a disadvantage as Vitaliy saw red. Kiev levelled early in the second half as Gerson Magrao’s hot-streak continued. The turnaround was completed in the 69th minute minute when Tiberiu Ghioane tucked home Kiev’s second.

Kryvbas Krivyi Rig 0 – Arsenal Kiev 1 (Ukrainian Premier League, April 18, 2010) A picture-perfect free-kick from Dmytro Korkishko in the 78th minute earned Arsenal the win.

Shakhtar Donetsk 1 – Zakarpattia 0 (Ukrainian Premier League, April 18, 2010) Oleksandr Hladkyy kept Shakhtar up with Dynamo at the top of the table.

Halmstad 3 – GAIS 0 (Allsvenskan, April 18, 2010) Goals from Nascimento Anselmo (penalty), Marcus Olsson and Emir Kujovic gave Halmstad a 3-0 win over GAIS.

IFK Gothenburg 5 – Elfsborg 1 (Allsvenskan, April 18, 2010) Gothenburg fell behind to Martin Ericsson’s goal after five minutes but had turned it round by the break when Sebastian Eriksson (20) and Hjalmar Jonsson (41) scored after Elfsborg goalkeeper Ante Covic (16) saw red. Goals in the last 10 minutes from Jakob Johansson, who grabbed two, and substitute Robin Soder sealed the points.
