Schalke when 2-1 in front in the 57th minute through a Klaas-Jan Huntelaar penalty for his 36th goal in 37 games. Twente’s demise seemed sealed when Schalke strung together a brilliant team move that ended when Raul’s sumptuous back-heel fed Jermaine Jones, who swiveled and scored. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar capped yet another memorable personal occasion with a late fourth (37 in 37 games).
