Manchester United 2 – Everton 0 (Barclays Premier Reserve League, February 18, 2010) A strong UNited reserve team broke the deadlock a minute before the break, Possebon collected the ball deep in his own half and quickly ferried it to Anderson, the Brazilian burst forward through midfield and slipped a pass through for Mame Biram Diouf to bury a low left-footed drive past Everton keeper Turner. Within three minutes United’s lead was doubled as Obertan advanced on goal, played in Cameron Stewart and the winger neatly fashioned space for himself before drilling a low shot inside Turner’s far post from the edge of the area.
