Derby County hit the headlines on Saturday in the Championship for all the wrongs reasons against Birmingham.
The promotion hopeful Rams looked destined to collect three big points in their charge for the Premier League against the Blues, however the visitors salvaged a point in dramatic fashion.
Jamie Ward broke the deadlock for the hosts after Johnny Russell’s effort was palmed away by Darren Randolph.
Thomas Ince gave Derby a two-goal cushion soon after the break when he was released into the box by Russell.
The game was turned on its head in stoppage-time when Robert Tesche was tripped by Ince and Paul Caddis sent Grant the wrong way with the penalty.
Then, with the home fans screaming for the final whistle, Birmingham won a corner which was scrambled in by Clayton Donaldson after Wesley Thomas hooked the ball back to secure a dramatic point.
