Aston Villa miss a penalty, Bolton win 3-2

Bolton 3 – Aston Villa 2 (Premier League, March 5, 2011) (MOTD highlights) Villa, who lined up with ten outfield Englishman at Bolton, got off to a great start in the 14th minute as Kyle Walker whizzed past Stuart Holden and laid on a perfect cross for Darren Bent to convert. The Trotters leveled on the stroke of halftime when Gary Cahill headed home a Martin Petrov corner. (First half highlights) The Villains went 2-1 when a Downing cross from the right was met by Mark Albrighton who finished at the back post. Ashley Young missed a penalty midway through the second half, which was soon punished by Gary Cahill who followed up his own header from a Holden corner to equalise. Four minutes from time Bolton completed the great comeback, a corner was only cleared as far as Daniel Sturridge on the right and his deep cross was headed down by Wheater and Ivan Klasnic fired home.
