Vasco 2 – Santos 0 (Campeonato Brasileiro, August 3, 2011) Diego Souza rocketed home the opener on 2 minutes and on 19 the win was completed by Dede.

Figueirense 2 – Botafogo 0 (Campeonato Brasileiro, August 3, 2011) Edson Silva and Julio Cesar (penalty) scored for the home side.

Gremio 2 – Atletico-MG 2 (Campeonato Brasileiro, August 3, 2011) Leandro’s opener for Gremio on 50 was cancelled out two minutes later by Andre. A Fabio Rochemback penalty looked to have won it for Gremio on 79 but Leonardo Silva equalised on 88 with a header from a corner.
