Maccabi Tel Aviv 1 – Maccabi Haifa 0 (Ligat ha’Al, November 30, 2009) A curling shot from Emmanuel Mayuka gave Tel Aviv the lead in the fifth minute, and doomed Haifa to their first defeat of the season after 10 consecutive league wins.
Arsenal 2 – Lanus 5 (Apertura, November 30, 2009) Goals from Diego Galvan in the 6th minute and Javier Yacuzzi in the 61st gave Arsenal a 2-1 lead after more than an hour played against Lanus. Sebastian Blanco had equalized for Lanus in the 34th, but the visitors went on the attack in the last half hour with goals from Cristian Menendez, Santiago Biglieri, Santiago Salcedo and Agustin Pelletieri.
Gimnasia La Plata 1 – Argentinos Juniors 2 (Apertura, November 30, 2009) Jose Vizcarra opened the scoring for Gimnasia in the 60th minute at home against Argentinos Juniors, before Gabriel Hauche equalised six minutes later. Gonzalo Prosperi sealed three points for Gimnasia with a strike in the 81st minute.
