Yokohama F.Marinos 2 – Consadole Sapporo 1 (J-League, May 6, 2012) Ex-Celtic star Shunsuke Nakamura blasted Yokohama ahead in the 21st after an error from the Sapporo keeper, but Hiroyuki Furuta soon level for the vistors with a back-post tap-in. A second half Hiroyuki Taniguchi header sealed the home win.

Richardes leads Urawa past Nagoya; Yokohama crush Kobe; Antlers stick 5 past Gamba

Nagoya Grampus Eight 1 – Urawa Red Diamonds 2 (J-League, April 28, 2012) Mu Kanasaki curled Nagoya into a 22nd minute lead, but within sixty seconds Urawa were level as Marcio Richardes equalised. A second half penalty from Marcio Richardes maintained Urawa’s position near the top of the table.

Yokohama F.Marinos 3 – Vissel Kobe 1 (J-League, April 28, 2012) Three goals in five second half minutes from Yuji Ono, Hiroyuki Taniguchi and Yuji Nakazawa earned Yokohama the points after the hosts had initially fallen 1-nil behind.

Kashima Antlers 5 – Gamba Osaka 0 (J-League, April 28, 2012) Yasushi Endo scored late in the first half and Kashima took a 4-0 lead with goals by Shinzo Koroki, Osako and Masashi Motoyama after the break. Osako completed the rout with a comedy goal in stoppage time as Kashima won its third straight game and improved to 10 points.

FC Tokyo 0 – Shimizu S-Pulse 1(J-League, April 28, 2012) Toshiyuki Takagi scored in the 76th minute to lead Shimizu S-Pulse to a 1-0 win over FC Tokyo.

Nagoya Grampus Eight 2 – Albirex Niigata 1 (J-League, March 25, 2012) Mu Kanazaki opened the scoring early in the second half and Josh Kennedy doubled the lead with a header in the 67th minute before Niigata pulled one back with a late strike from Bruno Lopes.

Gamba Osaka 1 – Jubilo Iwata 2 (J-League, March 25, 2012) Kosuke Yamamoto’s 23rd-minute opener was followed by a Ryoichi Maeda penalty on the hour with Gamba’s reply, through Shu Kurata on 84 minutes, coming too late to salvage anything.

Kawasaki Frontale 0 – Cerezo Osaka 1 (J-League, March 24, 2012) Kim Bo-kyung scored the only goal of the game as Cerezo Osaka climbed to third with a 1-0 win at Kawasaki.

Vissel Kobe 0 – FC Tokyo 2 (J-League, March 24, 2012) FC Tokyo are second as they posted a solid 2-0 win on the road at Vissel Kobe. Naohiro Ishikawa (32) opened the scoring and Kazuma Watanabe made it two in stoppage time.

Sagan Tosu 1 – Yokohama F.Marinos 0 (J-League, March 24, 2012) Kota Mizunuma’s 77th-minute goal handed Sagan Tosu a 1-0 win over Yokohama F. Marinos.

Consadole Sapporo 1 – Urawa Red Diamonds 2 (J-League, March 24, 2012) Urawa Red Diamonds came from behind to post a 2-1 win at Consadole Sapporo, who took the lead through Masaki Yamamoto (32). The visitors secured the points thanks to Yosuke Kashiwagi’s brace after 45 and 63 minutes.

Kashiwa Reysol 2 – Shimizu S-Pulse 1 (J-League, March 24, 2012) Tatsuya Masushima struck twice in the final 10 minutes to lift Kashiwa Reysol to a 2-1 victory over Shimizu S-Pulse, who took the lead through Keisuke Iwashita (38).

Yokohama F.Marinos 0 – Vegalta Sendai 2 (J-League, March 17, 2012) Vegalta Sendai are top, and without having yet conceded, following a 2-0 win at Yokohama F Marinos. Shingo Akamine scored first on 43 minutes before a Yoshiaki Ota penalty in second-half injury time.

Vissel Kobe 2 – Consadole Sapporo 1 (J-League, March 17, 2012) Vissel came from behind to beat Consadole Sapporo 2-1, Gakuto Kondo and Ken Tokura netting after Masaki Yamamoto’s seventh-minute opener.

Yokohama equalise three times as Reysol are held to a thrilling opening round draw

Kashiwa Reysol 3 – Yokohama F.Marinos 3 (J-League, March 11, 2012) Full-back Hiroki Sakai gave reigning champs Reysol a third-minute lead, before Masashi Oguro hit back just moments later with a karate-kick shot from a corner. Junya Tanaka restored Reysol’s advantage in the 12th minute, and they held onto their lead until the hour-mark until Marinos striker Manabu Saito evaded several defenders before firing a stunner into the bottom corner . Reysol again took the lead in the 63rd minute thanks to Brazilian attacker Leandro Domingues, only for Taniguchi to equalise in additional time.
