Le Havre 1 - Lorient 3 (Ligue 1, December 14, 2008) Goals from Mansouri and Gameiro gave Lorient a 2-nil halftime lead at Le Harve.

Sochaux 2 - Caen 2 (Ligue 1, December 13, 2008) Remi Gomis opened the scoring for Caen in the 21 minute after the keeper fumbled a corner, and when he bagged a second midway through the second period the game looked to be over. But Privat, a 73rd minute sub, pulled a goal back four minutes after his introduction and then grabbed a second with an incredible overhead volley 11 minutes later.

Nancy 2 - Grenoble 0 (Ligue 1, December 13, 2008) (Longer highlights here.) A goal in each half from Julien Feret and Issiar Dia saw Nancy beat Grenoble.

Rennes 0 - Nantes 0 (Ligue 1, December 13, 2008)

Auxerre 1 - PSG 2 (Ligue 1, December 13, 2008) (Longer highlights here.) Stephane Sessegnon gave PSG the lead after three minutes, before the Benin midfielder bagged his second with a super goal in the near post after great team build up. Hengbart netted a late consolation from the spot.

Toulouse 3 - Saint-Etienne 1 (Ligue 1, December 13, 2008) Andre-Pierre Gignac started and completed the scoring, while Etienne Didot restored Toulouse’s lead after an equaliser from Paulo Machado.

Le Mans 1 - Bordeaux 3 (Ligue 1, December 13, 2008) (Longer highlights here.) Fernando Cavenaghi gave Les Girondins the lead after 58 minutes but Thorstein Helstad equalised seven minutes later. Bordeaux were not to be denied however, Mathieu Chalme’s incredible lob restoring their lead and Jussie sealing victory in stoppage time as Bordeaux moved to within two points of leaders Lyon.

Valenciennes 3 - Monaco 1 (Ligue 1, December 13, 2008) Monaco took the lead at Valenciennes courtesy of Juan Pino’s 24th-minute strike, but Carlos Sanchez (29), Djamel Belmadi (41) and Gregory Pujol (59) secured a 3-1 turn around as Jerko Leko was sent off late on for the visitors.

PSG 3 - Le Mans 1 (Ligue 1, December 7, 2008) Guillaume Hoarau opened the scoring for the home side in the 23rd minute only for Gregory Cerdan to equalise eight minutes later. PSG,retook the lead as Hoarau claimed his second of the night six minutes before half-time. Peguy Luyindula wrapped up all three points with his 88th minute strike to send PSG into fifth just five points behind leaders Lyon.

Monaco 1 - Sochaux 1 (Ligue 1, December 7, 2008) Francileudo Santos opened the scoring for the visitors after just eight minutes only for Alejandro Alonso to equalise for the hosts 12 minutes later.

Grenoble 0 - Auxerre 0 (Ligue 1, December 7, 2008)

Marseille 2 - Nice 1 (Ligue 1, December 6, 2008) Marseille went ahead after 14 minutes when Nice midfielder Olivier Echouafni deflected a corner into his own net, before the hosts made it 2-nil just before halftime with a penalty from Mamadou Niang. Habib Bamogo scored for Nice early in the second half, but the hosts held on for the win.

Lille 1 - Toulouse 1 (Ligue 1, December 6, 2008) Mauro Cetto had put Toulouse in front after 64 minutes, Michel Bastos struck the equaliser in the 90th minute.

Caen 1 - Rennes 1 (Ligue 1, December 6, 2008) Benjamin Nivet’s opener for the home side on the stroke of half-time was cancelled out by Moussa Sow with 14 minutes remaining.

St. Etienne 2 - Le Havre 0 (Ligue 1, December 6, 2008) Dimitri Payet (75) and Bafetimbi Gomis (80) found the target for St Etienne as they begin to pick up points.

Lyon 0 - Valenciennes 0 (Ligue 1, November 29, 2008) Valenciennes shocked Lyon with a goalless draw at the Stade Gerland.

Sochaux 0 - Bordeaux 0 (Ligue 1, November 29, 2008) Bordeaux missed the opportunity to close ground on Lyon with a disappointing goalless draw.

Le Mans 2 - Caen 0 (Ligue 1, November 29, 2008) Modibo Maiga (51) and Yao Gervinho (61) got the goals to help secure only a second win in seven games and lift the club into the top half of the table.

Lille 1 - Lorient 1 (Ligue 1, November 29, 2008) Michel Bastos gave Lille the perfect start, handing them the lead after only eight minutes, but an own goal from Abil Rami on 35 minutes ensured the game finished all-square.

Marseille 2 - Lille 2 (Ligue 1, November 23, 2008) Lille led 2-nil after 37 minutes, goals from Adil Rami and Michel Bastos putting them in control. Mamadou Samassa pulled one back two minutes into the second half and Boudewijn Zenden netted a dramatic leveller at the death.

Monaco 3 - Le Mans 0 (Ligue 1, November 23, 2008) Monaco romped to victory with three goals in a four minute spell at the start of the second half. Alonso opened, a headed own goal from Paulo made it 2-nil, and Licata’s fine finish made it three.

Nantes 0 - Nancy 1 (Ligue 1, November 23, 2008) A thundering header from Youssouf Hadji that powered in off the underside of the bar earned Nancy the win.

PSG 1 - Lyon 0 (Ligue 1, November 22, 2008) Ludovic Giuly netted the only goal midway through the first half and PSG held on to move into the top five. Lyon had Juninho dismissed in the closing stages.

Bordeaux 1 - Rennes 1 (Ligue 1, November 22, 2008) Bordeaux keeper Valverde gifted Rennes the opener, hitting am attempted volleyed-clearance straight into Thomert who had the simply job of scoring into an empty net. On the hour mark Rennes suffered their own defensive meltdown with Yoann Gourcuff slipping home the equaliser.

St. Etienne 0 - Nice 1 (Ligue 1, November 22, 2008) Relegation-doomed St. Etienne fell behind to Nice when Oliver Echouafni was given too much space from a corner to head home.

Valenciennes 2 - Sochaux 2 (Ligue 1, November 22, 2008) Incredibly bad Valenciennes defending presented Erdinc with a goal-scoring opportunity on a silver platter which the striker gobbled up. Just after the hour mark the hosts levelled, Sochaux failed to clear their lines and were embarrassed when Saez’s volley went through a clutter of players before rolling through the keeper’s legs. The turnaround was complete when more disorganised defending was punished by Audel, only for Sloan Privat to pop up for the visitors four minutes from time.

Caen 1 - Auxerre 0 (Ligue 1, November 22, 2008) Reynald Lemaitre headed Caen in the lead over under-perming Auxerre.

Lorient 1 - Toulouse 0 (Ligue 1, November 22, 2008) Kevin Gameiro’s second half goal settled the match.
