Toulouse 1 - Marseille 1 (Ligue 1, March 14, 2010) Brandao gave the visitors the lead after half an hour when he turned Mathieu Valbuena corner into the net from close range. Auxerre stun French leaders Bordeaux to boost Montpellier’s shock title hopes

March 11th, 2010

Bordeaux 1 - Auxerre 2 (Ligue 1, March 10, 2010) After over 50 career appearances without scoring, Bordeaux left-back Benoit Tremoulinas broke his duck against Auxerre after seven minutes with an absolute beauty, the defender using his weaker right-foot to send a lob crashing into the net off the underside of the bar. The league leaders were pinned back in the 65th minute when Auxerre’s serial Polish striker Ireneusz Jelen grabbed the equaliser from close range. Second-placed Montpellier were then doing cartwheels with five minutes remaining as Jelen notched his second of the match following up his own effort against the crossbar, leaving Bordeaux top on goal difference with one game in hand.
