AC Milan beat Hamburg in Dubai; Juventus fall to Monaco on penalties

And when it came it was soft, Massimo Ambrosini tumbling in the box and Ronaldinho rolled in the spot kick. But Hamburg, who had arguably been the better team, rallied, equalising minutes later when Collin Benjamin was in the right place to score from a corner after Dida had made an initial save. Nacional 2 - Porto 4 (Superliga, January 4, 2009) From a botched free-kick, Edson’s deflected shot gave Nacional the lead. Hulk brought Porto level early in the second half and Christian Rodriguez put the visitors ahead in the 72nd minute with a tremendous overhead volley. Back came Nacional through Fidalgo’s header, but late goals from Gonzalez and Hulk gave Porto the points.

Trofense 2 - Benfica 0 (Superliga, January 4, 2009) Reguila found himself free and alone at the top right of the Benfica box before the forward released a bullet into the near post to break the deadlock. Trofense doubled the lead seven minutes from time through Barbosa.
