Brazil 4 - Germany 1 (Women’s Olympics, August 18, 2008) Germany’s Birgit Prinz had opened the scoring in the 10th minute, but Formiga levelled for Brazil just before the break. After the break, a Christine double and a goal from Marta booked Brazil a place in the final.
