Zinedine Zidane scored a lovely goal during Real Madrid legends v Juventus match

Perhaps we were a bit too hasty to laugh at Zinedine Zidane for this woeful free-kick during the Real Madrid-Juventus Legends match on Monday evening.

And, it is fair to say that Clarence Seedorf’s wonder volley somewhat overshadowed another scintillating performance from Zinedine Zidane.

The Les Bleus legend played for both sides during the charity match and yet again showed his class throughout – see the individual highlights below.

Zidane did get on the scoresheet, in a move that should be seen from the beginning with the Real Madrid assistant coach keeping the ball with trademark precision and playing passes with former team mate Claude Makelele.

And, Zidane pulled off a lovely dummy before chipping the Juventus legends keeper…
