Yaya Toure’s agent says player will stay at Man City if offered coaching role, ‘players are like kids’ [Amy Lewis, SSN]

Sky Sports News’ Amt Lewis flew to Barcelona today to interview Yaya Toure’s larger than life agent Dimitriy Seluk, who’s started one of the more bizarre side stories ahead of the World Cup.

Lewis has tweeted the most interesting quotes from the interview, which will be published in video form on SSN this evening.

After causing a bit of a storm earlier this week claiming Toure could leave Man City because the club forgot his birthday – even though they didn’t – Seluk has now clarified the situation, saying Toure is willing to stay if offered coaching or director of football role.

Seluk explained this by comically saying, ‘Players are like children, they need lots of attention.’
