Xabi Alonso’s Twitter account hacked, posts curious picture of Lionel Messi

Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso was the victim of a Twitter hack on Tuesday afternoon.

Alonso posted a curious picture of Lionel Messi to over 5.5 million followers before it was quickly deleted.

The picture of the Barcelona forward was hardly flattering and as soon as it was posted sparked furious debate on the social network as to what Alonso’s intentions were.

Seconds later the picture was erased and Alonso has sent a follow up Tweet saying: “Obviously the last tweet that has appeared in my account was not mine, but of some hacker.”
