More loving for the Moroccan Adel Taarabt, who continued his loan spell at Loftus Road last weekend featuring in QPR’s goalless draw with the Eagles.
As has been common in recent week’s, Taarabt once again stood-out in the Championship with the on-loan Spurs midfielder squandering the best chances of an otherwise pedestrian encounter. Palace keeper Julian Speroni denied Taarabt before the break, before the number 20 fired over from 14 yards when clean through early in the second half.
Arguably though, this was Taarabt’s least effective performance since joining the Super Hoops.
Other points of note in the match saw former Tottenham man Wayne Routledge face the team where he learned his trade, while for Palace, highly-rated striker Victor Moses got another 90 minutes under his belt.
