For a while now Pierluigi Collina has been working close with the Ukrainian FA.
Back in 2010 the world’s most famous referee Collina signed a two-year contract with the Ukrainian FA to help reorganise refereeing in the country which had been plagued by a series of scandals and poor decisions. Collina agreed to the role after reaching an approach from Ukrainian FA President Hryhiroy Surkis.
As part of his duties, last Friday night Collina was in attendance during the Arsenal Kiev’s 4-1 win over Obolon. During the contest the world’s most recognisable bald-headed Italian was approached by Surkis, and a conversation between the duo produced a magical moment from the ex-official.
After Surkis had whispered a few words, Collina was pictured with his trademark eye-popping stance.
What sparked Collina’s reaction remains unknown.
