Watch Eden Hazard apologise for kicking Swansea ball boy
- Updated: January 24, 2013
The Chelsea PR machine moved very swiftly on Wednesday night in the aftermath of Eden Hazard kicking Swansea ball boy Charlie Morgan.
After their initial outrage over the decision to send Hazard – see their now deleted Tweet here – Chelsea brought Eden Hazard out in front of their own cameras pretty swiftly.
Hazard’s statement was then communicated by all Chelsea channels, stating the following: “The boy put his whole body onto the ball and I was just trying to kick the ball and I think I kicked the ball and not the boy. I apologise. The ball boy came in the changing room and we had a quick chat and I apologised and the boy apologised as well, and it is over. Sorry.”
As of yet, the Eden Hazard apology has not been placed on the official Chelsea YouTube channel but can be seen on the video below.
