No sooner had the champagne been popped at Old Trafford after the Premier League title had been sown up, that plans for the next generation of Manchester United footballers started to unfold.
Reports broke over the weekend that the Red Devils had signed an 16-year-old Brazilian centre-forward called Bruno Gomes. The striker, who is liken to Luis Fabiano, will move to Manchester when he reaches his 18th birthday.
So who is this Brazilian wunderkid? Is he the real deal?
Playing for current employers Desportivo Brasil, video cameras were rolling last weekend as Bruno Gomes gave a little answer to those questions.
In a 12-0 demolition of Sumaré U17s, Bruno Gomes scored seven goals and claimed two assists in a man of the match performance.
