First up, the past few days have seen images of the Red Devils new 2010/11 kits start to do the rounds, with reaction to the new style divided.

Adopting a retro-style, the new kits are very basic with 1980s style prints, with the away kit in particular looking rather ugly with the red blotches on the sleeves.

Next, at the start of the week Wayne Rooney scooped the PFA Player of the Year award at a glitzy ceremony in London. The England and Manchester United striker, who has scored 34 goals for his club this season, was the clear winner of the main award ahead of fellow nominees Cesc Fabregas, Didier Drogba and Carlos Tevez.

Footage of Wayne Rooney collecting the award, and his interview with host Jeff Stelling immediately afterward, can be seen here.

Lastly, former Manchester United star David Beckham gave an exclusive interview with MLSSoccer.com this week in which Goldenballs spoke in detail about his injury and recuperation routine, his thoughts on the LA Galaxy’s start to the season, and finally he was asked for his Premier League title predictions. Staying loyal to the club that raised him, Becks plainly put his backing behind Manchester United to pip Chelsea to the championship.
