It has been a meteoric rise for former Wycombe wonderkid Jordan Ibe in 2011/2012 and on Saturday the flying winger notched his first goal in Liverpool colours.
Ibe made his debut for Wycombe last August and became the youngest ever goal scorer for the club in October with this goal against Sheffield Wednesday.
As a result of the furore surrounding Ibe, Kenny Dalglish and Damien Comolli took the plunge in December and brought Ibe to Liverpool.
Unlike at Wycombe, Ibe has not played any first team football at Anfield but he did make his mark this past weekend with his first Liverpool goal.
It was the winner as Ibe produced a lung bursting run and fine chipped finish down the right as he claimed the only goal in Liverpool Under-18s 1-0 win over Blackburn.
Ibe could well be a star of the future and should challenge another highly-rated English winger, Raheem Sterling, for a place in the Liverpool first team, in years to come.
