This is without question the happiest video we have brought you all week.
Since his £5 million transfer from Fulham at the end of the January transfer window, life has not been kind to Jimmy “the wig” Bullard. The loveable midfielder made his Tigers debut as a substitute against West Ham at the end of January, but in the match he picked up a nasty knee injury which forced the player to go under the knife. A long rehabilitation has since followed, but on Tuesday night Bullard finally returned to the field and he marked his comeback with a quality goal.
Watched by Hull boss Phil Brown and chairman Paul Duffen, Bullard opened the scoring minutes before the break with a blistering 25-yard drive across the keeper into the top corner.
After leaving the action at halftime, Bolton ran the show in the second half to run out deserved 2-1 winners.
