The hype surrounding “Being Liverpool” has been rife for a few weeks now and is arguably the most eagerly awaited football documentary ever.
“Being Liverpool” is a six-part documentary series which debuts this coming Sunday September 16 but as is the way these days, has already made an appearance on YouTube and Vimeo as can be seen below.
The new documentary, sanctioned by Liverpool’s American owners to boost the Merseyside giants profile across the pond, follows the arrival of Brendan Rodgers at Anfield after the departure of Kenny Dalglish.
We also get to look inside the homes of certain Liverpool players, as well as the recent US tour where we were shown the now famous clip of Rodgers confronting Raheem Sterling.
And the documentary follows Lucas Leiva, arguably Liverpool’s best defensive midfielder, as he looks to return from injury.
It would be no surprise if the clip below was pulled pretty quickly, but must have come from one of the journalists who was given a sneek preview early this week.
Channel 5, who will be showing this in England at the end of September, will probably be furious that the first episode in full of Being Liverpool is now available.
The first episode of Being Liverpool, named Silver Shovel, can be seen (for now) here:
