Most of you will have seen the footage of Mad Jens getting owned by a ballboy as Stuttgart lost 1-nil to Hannover at the weekend which we brought you on Monday. (If not, watch here.)
It now seems like the German ballboys’ union are collectively working against Lehmann, as lightning almost struck twice on Tuesday night during Stuttgart’s second miserable defeat on the bounce as the Bundesliga outfit were dumped out the cup by lower league Greuther Furth.
With Stuttgart trailing and time running out in the game, a Furth attack fizzled out as a shot whizzed past Lehmann’s post and out of play. Looking to restart proceedings quickly, Lehmann scampered behind his goal to find a new ball with which to begin a new Stuttgart attack. Low and behold, Lehmann soon found himself faced with his second dithering ballboy in the space of four days, as the keeper seemed to be forced to wait just that little bit too long to receive a new ball.
Mad Jens, refusing to allow himself to be made to look a fool by yet another hesitant ballboy, instantly took proactive measures, aggressively snatching the ball out of the kiddies’ hands to avoid a second embarrassment in a week.
The footage of Jens Lehamnn versus his second ballboy in a week can be seen here.
