Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale has one game left before his first season in Spain ends and it’s arguably the game that he went to join Ronaldo and company for.
The Champions League final is the pinnacle of club football and if Gareth Bale was to show signs of nerves at any time then it would be in Saturday’s showpiece against Atletico Madrid.
But thus far the world’s most expensive player has taken like a duck to water and, despite appearing to be in a sort of trance before answering his first question, has adapted to life at Real Madrid well.
Bale said: “I’m happy, happy to have a good season and hopefully we can add another trophy.”
One thing the Welshman hasn’t quite adapted to is the language but we’re sure that not participating in the World Cup will give him plenty of time to brush up on his Spanish!
