Chivas USA 2 – LA Galaxy 2 (MLS, August 14, 2008) In the SuperClassico, Landon Donovan opened the scoring for the Galaxy in the 8th minute. Atiba Harris found the equaliser for Chivas in the 50th minute off a pass from Paulo Nagamura, then and reciprocated by setting up Nagamura’s goal in the 63rd to make it 2-1. But just as it looked all over for LA, Alan Gordon headed in a goal in injury-time to salvage a draw after a testing week. The game had some serious needle to it, Atiba Harris took out David Beckham with a sly foul in the closing stages.
