The Star’s David Woods claims that Tottenham are facing “up to the prospect of life without Gareth Bale” as Andre Villas-boas has turned attention to signing PSG playmaker Javier Pastore.
The Star fail to determine how much a successful bid for Pastore would cost Tottenham, as Woods loosey details:
Pastore cost Paris St-Germain 36 million pounds two years ago. He would rip a hole in the cash Spurs are demanding for Bale.
The report in the Star seems to conveniently miss out quotes from Pastore’s agent on Sunday, which confirmed that the player is not for sale this summer.
Linked to Roma, agent Marcelo Simonian said of his 24-year-old client:
Pastore to Rome? Impossible because PSG have never made him available for sale.
Pastore has played 66 games for PSG since 2011 scoring 12 times.
