Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe arrives in Toronto following big money move; Poses with Toronto FC scarf
On Friday morning it was announced Jermain Defoe had agreed a move to MLS club Toronto FC, for a fee thought to be around £8m.
The England and Spurs striker will move on the 28th February, remaining at Tottenham until that point.
On Saturday, Defoe came off the bench to score a classic poacher goal against Crystal Palace.
On Sunday evening he was photographed at Toronto airport holding his new club’s scarf.
