Top 14 Goals of the Week

Top 14 Goals of the WeekIt’s been a real pleasure compiling this week’s list. The quality of the goals on show have been much higher than usual, with the “narrowly missing this week’s cut” filled up with a stack of goals that would usually make our top goals of the week themselves.

There has been a sense of deja vu when watching some of the strikes fly in the back of the net during the last seven days. Goal 4 is reminiscent of Zidane’s Champions League final goal for Real Madrid against Bayer Leverkusen. Goal 8 brings back memories of Ryan Giggs’ wonder run against Arsenal in the FA Cup. And goal 10 is straight out of the David Beckham scrap book.

With a host of volleys, lobs and a couple of chips to throw in the mix, as always, sit back and enjoy!
