If this would have gone in…
Barcelona cantered to a 4-1 win away at Sevilla on Sunday in La Liga in a match that saw Lionel Messi regain his scoring touch with a brace.
During the game, which was heavily hampered by rainstorms during the 90 minutes, Barcelona almost scored one of the team goals of the season.
Stringing together a whopping 46 passes (ok, a Sevilla player did briefly touch the ball midway through), Barcelona moved the ball front-to-back, side-to-side, before eventually working an opening for Adriano in the inside left channel.
After almost two solid minutes of possession, Adriano narrowly missed the far past by two inches.
