Arguably the only winners from the ITV broadcasting howler that saw many fans miss Dan Gosling’s late winner in the Everton-Liverpool FA Cup replay were popular breath mint maker Tic Tac.
Many fans, instead of seeing Gosling win the tie for the Toffees, were being forced to watch an advert for Tic Tac. Now they have created a 20-second viral advertisement re-creating the Dan Gosling goal that was missed by so many.
According to the official Tic Tac line, the new ad is aimed at giving a “little lift” to disappointed football supporters.
