This is how Landon Donovan reacted to Chris Wondolowski’s 93rd minute miss for USA v Belgium
- Updated: July 2, 2014
The 93rd minute is not a friend of Team America.
In 2010, Ghana scored against USA in the 93rd minute.
Last night, Kevin De Bruyne scored for Belgium against America in the 93rd minute.
And, since there were two 93rd minutes, due to injury time and extra time, it also witnessed arguably the key moment of the entire match against Belgium.
Despite plenty of Belgium dominance, USA substitute Chris Wondolowski was presented with a glorious opportunity to win the match on 93 minutes.
During America’s World Cup campaign many wondered if Jurgen Klinsmann made a big error not bringing Landon Donovan to Brazil.
The LA Galaxy striker has great experiences of playing at the World Cup and is after all, the all-time top MLS goal scorer.
