Spanish television have cut their own visual critique comparing the performances of Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo from the Champions League final.

It goes without saying that there is an obvious Messi bias, one that was justified by the Argentine scoring Barca’s crucial second of the game. But the critique also was interestingly edited to highlight Ronaldo’s poses and emotional moments, contrasting those images with footage of Messi whizzing past United defenders, or the fifteen different angels of Messi’s header past Van der Sar.

In the end however, the footage seemed to prove that neither player put in exceptional performance in Rome, and the argument over which superstar is the greatest is no nearer reaching any common consensus.
