The English Premier League is celebrating 20 seasons of existence and late on Monday evening published what they believe to be the top 10 goals scored so far.
According to the official Premier League website, “The Best Goals in Premier League can be watched over and over again and never get dull – there have been some truly memorable strikes. And you can have your say as the public will vote for the Best Goal in Premier League history.”
Whittling the list down to 10 cannot have been easy and there are a number of goals that many of you will feel have been missed from selection.
Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier is the only player appearing twice, whilst the likes of Tony Yeboah, David Beckham, Eric Cantona, Paolo Di Canio, Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer and Wayne Rooney all make an appearance.
