Sunderland’s Jozy Altidore named in USA’s preliminary 30 man squad but Eddie Johnson misses out
On Monday evening USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann announced his 30 man preliminary squad for the upcoming World Cup.
Four Premier League stars were included but 30 year old Eddie Johnson was a surprise omission.
Jozy Altidore, Tim Howard, Brad Guzan and Geoff Cameron are all likely to make the 23.
