Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino tipped to take over at PSG [L’Equipe]

L’Equipe are playing the long game on Wednesday, suggesting the current Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is a target for PSG.

Rather than suggest Pochettino will leave White Hart Lane to move to Paris this summer, the article believes PSG are eyeing the Argentine as a long term replacement for Laurent Blanc.

The whole story has surfaced after Pochettino admitted it would be a “dream” to return to Paris Saint-Germain and become coach of the French giants.

Speaking to French radio station RMC this week, the Argentine said:

I have always said that one day it would be a pleasure to manage a big club like Paris. It’s part of my dreams.

I try to watch all of their games, especially in the Champions League and sometimes I speak with [PSG assistant coach] Jean-Louis Gasset.

Return to Paris one day, why not?

The 44-year-old coach played for PSG from 2001-2003, featuring in over 70 matches for the French club.
