Tuesday’s Serie A match between Parma and Juventus was called off for snow, and images from Serie B gave an insight into the appalling conditions which engulfed Italy.

Varese claimed a 3-1 away win at Livorno, but the third goal of the match was virtually impossible to see amid a horrific snow storm in the ground.

With the white stuff covering every part of the pitch, apparently Magnus Troest stuck the ball in the back of the net in the 83rd minute however the hostile weather made the goal a nightmare to spot.

Looking at the players reactions at the time, it also seemed that most of them failed to see the ball also.
