Spanish FA pay tribute to Xavi with video of his 7 best goals for La Roja [Video]

Xavi Hernandez bade ‘Adios’ to his time with the Spanish national team last week, after a 14 year relationship that saw him win 2 European Championships, a World Cup, and amass 133 caps, scoring 13 goals in the process.

After deciding to stay on at Barcelona for at least one more season, the most decorated player in Spanish football history felt it was time to draw the curtain on La Roja in order to maximize the time he has left at the top level of club football.

The Spanish FA (SEFutbol) have paid tribute to their pass master with a video clip of his 7 best goals in the Spain shirt.

There’s a couple of quality free-kicks in there, as well as a couple of cracking long-rangers.

Although, an assists clip would probably have been more appropriate in Xavi’s case (both Euro finals)….
