Is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first buy going to be former Manchester United midfielder Magnus Wolff Eikrem?
Eikrem, 23, hit the headlines in England in 2009 when he moved from Norway to Old Trafford, and the youngster began life in Manchester impressively in the under-18 set-up.
Eikrem advanced into the United reserves, but after failing to break into the senior squad the Norwegian moved to Molde.
At Molde, Eikrem was trained by Solskjaer, while the midfielder signed a four-year contract for Heerenveen back in June 2013.
On Saturday Eikrem was spotted at St James’ Park for Cardiff’s 2-1 win over Newcastle, and after the game the player was psotted in conversations with Solskjaer.
So will Eikrem be the Dragons’ first signing this winter?
