Sky panned on Twitter for screening Newcastle – Villa over Liverpool – Swansea [Tweets]
On Sunday afternoon Sky Sports had to decide which game to show at 1:30.
They chose Newcastle v Aston Villa over Liverpool v Swansea.
The Newcastle game was a dire, low-quality game of football in which Newcastle ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a stoppage time Loic Remy goal.
The Liverpool game was a 7 goal thriller with the game turning on its head on a number of occasions.
Users on Twitter voiced their displeasure at Sky.
The person who works at Sky who chose the Villa Newcastle game over the Liverpool one… pic.twitter.com/8mlxndjsEv

Whoever chose this Newcastle game over the Liverpool/Swansea game for Sky should be shot! #notsosupersunday

It's ridiculous in this day and age that Sky can't give us the option to switch to the Liverpool game. This is an abominable game

Liverpool 3-3 Swansea. Newcastle 0-0 Aston Villa. That's a solid choice you've made Sky Sports.

Someone at Sky should be sacked for selecting Villa-Newcastle instead of the 4-3 Liverpool-Swansea humdinger! #Partidazo
