Poor Troy Deeney!
Watford slipped out of the FA Cup on Friday night losing 1-nil to Tottenham.
In a classic patronising analysis, the Hornets gave a good account of themselves in the match with Spurs, but the Championship outfit lacked that bit of class they so despeartely needed to cause the Premier Leaguers real problems.
For Tottenham, on the other hand, they had plenty of talent in their ranks after Harry Redknapp selected the likes of VDV, Modric, Parker, Adebayor and Defoe in their starting eleven.
Perhaps the best example of Spurs’ superiority came when Luka Modric and Rafael van der Vaart had poor Watford forward Troy Deeney chasing shadows as the duo displayed their fancy footwork tight on the sideline.
Watch Luka Modric and Rafa van der Vaart’s brilliant skills here.
