Skills! Germany’s Mesut Özil’s sublime aerial back-heel pass v Kazakhstan

This is just ridiculous!

Real Madrid’s Mesut Özil produced a sublime piece of skill during Germany’s 3-0 win over Kazakhstan, which recalled THAT Guti back-heel v Deportivo La Coruña (and not for the first time either).

As if he had eyes on the back of his head, or, to borrow from Jamie Redknapp’s phrase book – as if he was playing with wing mirrors, Özil played an aerial back-heel flick to the oncoming Bastian Schweinsteiger without so much as a glance over his shoulder.
