Shots fired: Man United keeper Victor Valdes hits back at Louis van Gaal on Twitter

On Thursday morning Victor Valdes took to Twitter to hit back at his manager Louis van Gaal after he ruthlessly threw the Spanish keeper under the bus.

Left out of the squad for the pre-season tour of America, Last night Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal told the press that he would sell Victor Valdes this summer as he doesn’t match the philosophy of the club.

Being brutally honest, van Gaal told journalists that Victor Valdes refused to play for the reserve team last season.

Victor Valdes and Louis van Gaal fell out in 2002 during their time at Barcelona but eventually managed to put aside their differences.

The legendary 33 year old Barcelona keeper this morning tweeted pictures of the Man United U21 games in which he played last season.

He also posted a picture with his youtful U21 teammates and captioned the photos “…..? #respect”
