Now it feels like the World Cup is really just weeks away!

Luiz Felipe Scolari announced his 23-man Brazilian World Cup squad on Wednesday, and there was plenty of discussion around those players who failed to make the cut.

From an Premier League point of view, Chelsea were well represented in the squad with David Luiz, Ramires, Oscar and Willian all selected, while Tottenham midfielder Paulinho also made the squad.

Man City’s Fernandinho also got selected in midfield.

Less fortunate were Liverpool duo Philippe Coutinho and Lucas Leiva.
