Misfiring Tottenham striker Roberto Soldado has netted just once in 17 Premier League appearances so far this season.
The 29 year old former Valencia hitman has been something of a flop since his €30m transfer 18 months ago.
Having mulled over Sunday’s 2-0 Capital One Cup final defeat to Chelsea, Roberto Soldado took to Twitter tonight to post a fired-up tweet to his followers.
Soldado described the 12 remaining Premier League fixtures as ’12 finals’. Tottenham fans will he hoping they don’t lose all their finals 2-0.
The Spanish international noted how important Champions League football is, insisting that ‘We need to be in the top 4’.
Tottenham’s next ‘final’ is tomorrow night when they host Swansea City in the Premier League.
Since beating Arsenal 2-1 in the North London Derby, Mauricio Pochettino’s men have failed to register a single win, whilst being knocked out of the Europa League and the Capital Once Cup in the process.
